This is a picture book about a young Algerian-American girl learning about her culture’s traditions as her big sister prepares to get married.
The illustrations are fun and engaging. My daughter loved seeing the pretty Algerian dresses mentioned in the book. And my son loved the bonus scrapbook pages.
I’m happy that my kids can learn about and appreciate other cultures and traditions through beautifully-illustrated books like this one.
